About Patti
I was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1969 and a teaching certificate from the University of Michigan. The next year I completed a Master of Arts degree from U of M in 1970 as well. I’ve taught at the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and at Indian Hills Community college in Iowa. I also worked for eight years in Human Resources and Marketing for Harris Corporation, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Melbourne, FL, during which I received four Outstanding Performance awards.
I learned the Transcendental Meditation technique in 1972 and became a teacher of TM the following year. My husband and I recently moved to The Villages, where I am happy to offer courses in the TM technique.
